Olive Auction built this page from public records so buyers can find the estate. Its own people can claim it at no cost — complete the story, list lots, answer buyers.
After a claim, we confirm by emailEverything here comes from public sources — award lists, certification registers, the territory inventories. The rest of the story — the family, the grove, the real age of the trees, this year's lab sheet — only the mill can tell, and it is the part buyers bid on.
Morocco Gold is pressed from fruit grown in the Beni Mellal region, roughly 200 kilometres from Marrakesh, where a valley in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains sits at about 2,000 feet above sea level. Gordon and Linda Davidson began the project in 2017, after years of travelling in Morocco, and the oil was formally launched to trade customers at the end of January 2018. One cultivar goes into it: Picholine Marocaine, picked while the fruit is still young and green, hand-harvested and mechanically pressed within 24 hours at low temperature.
Acidity has run between 0.23% and 0.4% across recent harvests, against the 0.8% ceiling for extra virgin, and the producer gives its most recent harvest a total polyphenol content of 644 mg/kg, its highest figure to date. Each harvest is tested in Morocco by ONSSA, the national food safety office, and in the United Kingdom by Campden BRI, and the results of that annual analysis are printed on every bottle; the UK bottling site runs to AA standard as certified by BRCGS.
The fruit comes through a local co-operative made up largely of women. Centenary olive trees stand in the same valley, some of which the producer puts at more than 800 years, alongside the traditional stone presses, the maasras, that served the region before.

Lab numbers, tree references, harvest dates, a photo — the tap-through form asks only for what buyers pay for.
Auction with a confidential reserve, or a fixed-price allocation. We review it and it goes live.
