Al Kaabi Olive Oil is recorded at Kairouan, Tunisia, and what is documented about it stands in competition registers rather than in any account of its own. The International Olive Council's results communiqué for the 2026 Mario Solinas Quality Award, Northern Hemisphere, issued from Madrid on 21 April 2026, prints "Al Kaabi Olive Oil – Kairouan (Tunisia)" as first prize in delicate green fruitiness, on Batch No. 80 with a volume of 10,900 litres. The same document sets out the class the batch was judged in: delicate green fruitiness covers oils with a fruitiness median below 3, on lots above 4,000 litres, and the winners were chosen by an international jury scoring olfactory, taste and retronasal sensations together with harmony, complexity and persistence out of 100.
The Council records that the 2026 edition, announced in July 2025, received 122 oils — 59 from Spain, 28 from Tunisia, 12 from Morocco, 9 from Portugal, 5 from Italy, 3 from Greece and single or paired entries from Algeria, China, France, Iran and Jordan — submitted by individual producers, producer associations and packer companies. The IOC's news release on the same awards, which puts the winning oils' origins as Spain, Italy, Tunisia and China, describes the Tunisian first prize under the heading "light green fruitiness", where the results communiqué prints "delicate green fruitiness"; both wordings come from the Council itself and are set down here as they stand.
The producer appears in two further competition registers under variant names. The London Olive Oil Awards' 2025 results page lists the entry as "Kaabi'S Olive Oil" of Tunisia, a Chemlali monovarietal, awarded Gold in the quality category. The Anatolian International Olive Oil Competition's 2026 results list an entry called "Al Kaabi Chemlali - Chetoui" from Kaabi's Olive Oil, awarded Gold in the blend category with Chemlali and Chetoui named as its cultivars. Beyond these listings no opened record documents the groves, the mill, the acreage or the people behind the label.
